~ Torn And Restore
As usual, let's talk about the effect of this magic. A card is ripped into 4 pieces. However, once he spectator put his.her finger on the pieces and the pieces are magically restore back into whole card. Is this really cool? Wanna learn it? Follow the steps provided at below to learn about this magic.
1) Before you start to perform this magic, you have to secretly rip off one forth of a card which has the same suite and color with the card that you will use to tear off in front oft your audience later on. See the picture at above.
2) Now, you can start your magic. Hold a card facing in front of you and fold it into fourths , creasing the card and then unravelling it. After that, you can try to explain to your audience that the purpose you doing this so that the card is easier to tear. See the above picture.
3) You hold the car in front of you and facing your audience. You use your thumb to hold the extra torn piece onto the side of the card that facing you. Now, start to rip down the upper middle of the card stopping at the center. Next, you can fold down the upper right corner and slide out the corner that you ripped of in the earlier as the piece that was ripped of.
NOTE : By doing this, your audience can not see the real corner is still attached to the card. They will think you have ripped of the corner of the card.
4) Next, you have to put the torn piece behinds the card again. hold it with your thumb.
5) Now, you fold the lower right corner behind the card. While you are bending this piece back, slide the extra piece into view again in order to pretend to rip it off. Then, place tit behind the card and fold the card in half again. See the pictures at above and below
Secrets :
6) You pretend to rip it in half again but actually you just slide the loose piece off the pile convincingly to look like it has ripped. Place the piece behind the card which is now folded up.
7) Although the card is not ripped, however, you can fan the pieces to make it looks like three or four pieces. Now, you can ask your audience to place his/her finger on the "torn" pieces. While you place the pieces on table, you have to steal the loose piece with your thumb and hide it in your hand and put it back to your pocket.
8) In the end , you can ask your audience to check the card. They would found that the it is in one piece.
